About the role

Every inbound call you take will be a unique experience. One moment you could be talking a customer through their insurance options and the next you’ll be discussing a range of offers available to them. Your role will be to look for opportunities to personalise each customer experience and communicate to them why they’ve made the right decision to be an ahm customer.


Life is a lot and insurance can be confusing but our role is to keep it simple, easy to understand and provide affordable options that are good value for money. Don’t worry though, we’ll provide you with face to face training, coaching, development and support to help you guide our customers to making the right decisions for their personal situation.


What you will be doing:

  • Answering inbound calls from existing ahm members, troubleshoot their issues and provide assurance that they’re on the right product for their needs and have chosen the right insurer to support their health;
  • Exploring opportunities to provide value to customers above and beyond their health insurance product;
  • Owning your development and proactively identifying opportunities to grow in your role and provide customers with unique and personalised experiences tailored to their needs.


About you

Without a doubt, you have passion, commitment and drive to deliver exceptional and engaging customer service to our members. You have already worked in a customer service or sales role and have the ability to quickly build rapport and convey empathy over the phone. Past experience working towards KPIs and targets would be ideal. Adaptability and the ability to pick up new systems quickly is essential
