About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Sales and Retention team in this work from home role, though there will be the opportunity to travel for work-related events. In this role you will actively manage, support and coach the inbound and outbound phone Sales and Retention team in efficiently and effectively handling prospective and existing member telephone enquiries whilst maintaining required performance, customer service and compliance quality standards in line with best practice procedures.

You will also be responsible for the team’s performance in relation to sales, retention, and cover review call types, whilst also managing leads via the ahm website.

  • You have extensive experience in sales and driving your team towards KPIs and targets
  • Have the ability to quickly build rapport and engage with key stakeholders in the business to drive outcomes 
  • Without a doubt, you have passion, commitment, and drive to deliver exceptional and engaging customer service to our members
  • Demonstratable experience in leading and coaching a team to success
  • Adaptable and agile with change – change is positive and what keeps us moving in the right direction
  • Have ability to pick up new systems quickly is essential
  • Be able to identify improvements to better performance in the team
  • A team player – wants to be part of a high performing team but understands that individual performance is critical
  • Proactive approach in identifying potential issues and sound problem-solving skills
  • Hunger to want to grow and develop – opportunity to progress and build on your skillset are endless for the right people


You will have a reliable and fast broadband service (NBN or ADSL) & be confident in using various IT software. All necessary equipment for the role will be provided by ahm.
