About the role

 

Life is a lot and insurance can be confusing, but our role is to keep it simple, easy to understand, and provide affordable options that are good value for money. In your role as a Sales and Retention Specialist, or Simplifier, as we like to call it here, you will provide a tailored and exceptional experience for potential, new & existing members of ahm health insurance. You’ll work with a supportive, tight-knit sales and retention team and we’ll provide you with virtual training, coaching, development, and support to help you guide our customers to making the right decisions for their personal situation

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Answering inbound calls from potential ahm members, guide them through the options that best suits their needs, and effortlessly complete the process of joining them as a new ahm member;
  • Exploring opportunities to provide value to customers above and beyond their health insurance product;
  • Retaining our existing members by providing straightforward advice on cover, pricing, and comparisons;
  • Evaluating members cover and efficiently make the necessary changes;
  • Actioning outbound follow-up calls, but no cold calling!

 

About you

  • Without a doubt, you have passion, commitment, and drive to deliver exceptional and engaging customer service to potential and existing members;
  • You have a calm, warm, and friendly phone manner with the ability to quickly build rapport, convey empathy over the phone;
  • Previous sales experience is a must, together with strong customer service experience.
  • Comfortable working to KPI's and love the challenge of exceeding them;
  • Adaptability and the ability to pick up new systems quickly is essential.
  • Flexible working arrangements: you can be located anywhere across Australia, just remember, we are working on AEST hours.
