The Opportunity

Join Amplar Home and Allied Health as a Scheduling Coordinator (also known as a Practice Support Officer) within our dedicated Practice Support Team. In this varied role, you'll help coordinate the delivery of care across our Home and Allied Health services, supporting everything from referral intake and administration through to scheduling, rostering and service allocation.

 

You'll work closely with clinicians, care teams, customers and referrers to make sure the right resources are available in the right place at the right time, while responding to changing operational needs and helping us deliver a seamless experience for our clients.

 

We offer a Full Time, Fixed Term opportunity for 12 months, with either a WFH or Hybrid set up. We work across a 5 day roster, Monday to Friday, between 7:00am – 8:00pm.

 

We are ideally looking for a candidate who is based in Victoria or Western Australia. 

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Scheduling & Rostering: Coordinate appropriately skilled team members to deliver care at the right time and location, considering geography, qualifications and service requirements.
  • Referral Coordination: Receive, review and administer Allied Health referrals, considering coverage areas, capacity and program requirements.
  • Real-Time Management: Respond to changes in staff availability and operational demand, adjusting schedules to maintain continuity of care.
  • Stakeholder Support: Liaise with clinicians, customers, referrers and internal teams to support timely and appropriate service delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve scheduling practices, processes and workforce capacity
    .

About You

You'll bring at least 2 years' experience in a large-scale scheduling or rostering environment. Experience within hospital, healthcare or community services would be highly regarded.

 

You're proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You're confident balancing multiple competing demands while maintaining accuracy, providing great customer service and building effective relationships with stakeholders.

You'll Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing schedules, systems and data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to navigate challenging conversations
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with Access and SQL experience advantageous
  • A proactive approach and ability to manage competing priorities across phone, email and scheduling systems
  • Resilience and adaptability when working to tight and competing deadlines
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work between 7:00am and 8:00pm, Monday to Friday
