We are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences and supporting Australians to live healthier lives. As part of our growing Transition Care Services (TCS) team, we're looking for an experienced and proactive Roster Coordinator to join us on a 3-month contract.

The Opportunity

As the Roster Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting service delivery by ensuring our workforce is effectively planned, coordinated and resourced. Working within a busy healthcare environment, you'll manage complex 24/7 rosters, coordinate staffing coverage, support workforce compliance, and partner closely with operational leaders to meet the needs of both our team and the people we care for.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where your organisation, attention to detail, and relationship-building skills will make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating and maintaining safe, efficient and effective workforce rosters across a 24/7 service.
  • Managing planned and unplanned leave requirements through the utilisation of permanent, casual and agency resources.
  • Monitoring staffing levels, skill mix, overtime and safe working hours to support workforce compliance and quality service delivery.
  • Interpreting and applying relevant Awards, enterprise agreements and workforce policies.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address workforce requirements and staffing challenges.
  • Supporting onboarding and orientation planning for new team members
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workforce planning and rostering processes.

About You

You are a highly organised coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems.

You'll bring:

  • Previous rostering, workforce coordination or scheduling experience, ideally within healthcare, aged care or a similar 24/7 operational environment.
  • Experience working with workforce management systems such as Employment Hero or similar platforms.
  • A sound understanding of Modern Awards and workforce compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
  • A commitment to teamwork, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality service outcomes.

What We Offer

  • 3-month contract with an immediate start
  • Competitive hourly rate of $36.81 per hour
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
  • The opportunity to contribute to a purpose-led organisation that's transforming healthcare delivery across Australia.
