Occupational Therapist
Hobart, TAS | Permanent Full-Time (1.0 FTE preferred) | Part-Time Considered
At Amplar Health, we're committed to helping people live healthier, more independent lives at home. We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Hobart team, delivering mobile allied health services across the community.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work primarily with older Australians in their homes, with a strong focus on:
- Home and environmental assessments
- Home modifications and bathroom modifications
- Equipment prescription and assistive technology
- In-home rehabilitation and reablement
- Falls prevention and risk reduction
- Functional and cognitive assessments
- Pressure care and manual handling advice
- Supporting clients to maintain independence and achieve their goals at home
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Experience in community health, aged care, rehabilitation and/or home modifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Hobart region
