At Amplar Health, we are committed to sustaining Australia’s healthcare system and ensuring that residents in aged care homes receive the dignified, high-quality care they deserve. With an aging population, your role as a Nurse Practitioner is more vital than ever.
In this key position, you will lead a team of registered nurses virtually, supporting up to 10 residential aged care homes. You'll act as an extension of the care teams, providing guidance, boosting staff confidence, and ensuring safe, consistent care for residents.
Get to know the residents, their families, and the unique needs of each home as you drive improvements in healthcare delivery. Empower local staff, enhance their competence, and help them feel fulfilled in their vital work.
Your expertise within this role can help shape the future of aged care.
About you:
You have proven experience in managing teams and are comfortable with virtual communication. You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong nursing assessment abilities focused on delivering quality care. Additionally, you will be able to effectively multi-task, navigate computer systems, phone, video, and audio platforms while maintaining clear and effective communication with both consumers and care team members.
We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years full-time equivalent nursing experience in aged care
- Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree and Masters of advanced nursing practice
- Current unconditional AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement
- Formal qualifications or experience within a speciality is highly desirable
- Available for on call shifts on weekends only and a flexible part time contract ?
