About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior–Mid Data Solution Designer or experienced Data Analyst to join the team on a 6‑month contract, earning $650 per day. You’ll be working alongside two senior designers who will support your development as you grow your data modelling and solution design skills.

This opportunity is perfect for someone with around 3-5 years’ experience who is confident with SQL, comfortable investigating and interpreting data, and ready to expand their capability in data design. You’ll manage your own work while learning from senior team members and contributing to meaningful enhancements across the data environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior designers to understand existing data solutions and contribute to enhancements.
• Use SQL to query, investigate, and interpret data accurately and efficiently.
• Support the development of end‑to‑end data flows, including how data is sourced, stored, and transformed.
• Contribute to data model development using Kimball and Data Lake concepts.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical documentation and simple solution outlines.
• Conduct data profiling and basic source-to-target mapping.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate findings.
• Work within cloud environments (AWS preferred; general cloud experience is fine).

What We’re Looking For

• Around 3 - 5 years’ experience in data analysis, data design, or a similar data‑focused role.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Comfortable querying, interpreting, and validating data.
• Exposure to data modelling concepts and a willingness to build deeper design expertise.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (general knowledge is sufficient).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Independent, proactive, and able to manage your own workload effectively.
• Curious mindset, strong analytical thinking, and eagerness to learn from senior team members.

• Quickly understand the existing data environment and how key hubs operate.
• Independently handle your own analysis and SQL work.
• Contribute to design discussions with guidance from senior designers.
• Provide clear documentation and logical data insights.
