Integration Engineer - Business Central

Medibank is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to support a critical implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, integrated with an existing care management platform. This initial 6‑month contract will focus on delivering robust, end‑to‑end finance and billing integrations that support care delivery across multiple funding models.

This role is ideal for a technically hands‑on engineer who understands how service delivery data flows through billing, reconciliation, and finance systems, and can work closely with business and vendor teams to deliver reliable, scalable integrations.

The Opportunity

You will support the engineering and integration of Business Central as the system of choice, enabling seamless data flow from the care management system into finance workflows. This includes handling billing events, reconciliations, client and funder charging, and co‑payment scenarios.

The role is integration‑ and finance‑focused, rather than application support or configuration only.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build integrations between Business Central and care management systems
• Support end‑to‑end finance workflows including billing, invoicing, reconciliations, and co‑payments
• Translate care delivery events into accurate financial transactions
• Work closely with vendors, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to implement solutions
• Support testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance across integrations
• Contribute to technical documentation and integration design artefacts

About You

• Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or Systems Engineer
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 
• Strong background in systems integration, particularly across finance or billing platforms
• Experience working with healthcare, aged care, or care services systems highly regarded
• Understanding of complex charging models, including co‑payments or multi‑payer billing
• Comfortable working in regulated, enterprise environments
