The Opportunity

 

 

Our Health & Wellbeing support services team connect with Medibank members to support conversations about health and wellbeing.to engage them in a discussion around their health and wellbeing.

In this role you will deliver health screening assessments via telehealth to assist and empower members to identify clear actions for their health and wellbeing and where relevant, educate members about other Amplar Health/Medibank offerings relevant to their needs. This is a KPI-driven role focused on outbound member engagement.

We have permanent full time and part time (0.8 - 1.0 FTE) positions available.  With commencement dates on the 17th, 22nd & 29th of June.

Our Health and Wellbeing service operates Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm, however we are currently seeking clinicians available to work shifts between 12pm and 8pm to meet business requirements.

Key availability requirements:

  • Availability for 12:00pm – 8:00pm shifts is essential
  • Wednesday and Friday availability is required
  • Fixed fortnightly roster (Week 1 & Week 2)
  • Rosters are set for 6 months

Training will be virtual and conducted over 2 days.

 

About You

 

 

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service with strong interpersonal skills displaying empathy and a thoroughly engaging phone manner. You have a focused mindset to deliver exceptional service to Medibank members.

Self-motivated and proactive, you are comfortable working to KPIs and targets in a structured environment.

Additionally, the candidate will bring:

  • You must be a Registered Nurse ( Div 1) with current  unrestricted AHPRA
  • Minimum 2 years’ post qualification experience in Australia
  • Ability to identify needs and match actions and service provision
  • Experience in applying active listening techniques in a customer service environment
  • Strong computer skills, including experience using multiple systems and the ability to learn new operating systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment

You will also bring the following work-from-home requirements:

  • Access to a private, distraction-free workspace room.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection

Highly desirable:

  • Previous outbound contact centre or telehealth experience
  • Experience using SharePoint and Genesys
