About the role

This is an exciting newly created position following recent internal changes. A pivotal role in shaping and leading Medical Services across all programs, this role will be predominantly non- clinical, with a small clinical component (approximately one session per week) to support continuity of care and maintain connection with practice. 

Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Team and Operational Leadership this role will ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care across our programs. This is a chance to bring your expertise, influence to further strengthen governance, integration and workforce culture.

• Provide leadership and support to the medical workforce across all AHHH programs
• Liaise with LHN's, GP's and other providers to enhance integration and collaboration
• Undertake limited clinical duties
• Actively contribute to service planning, workforce development and policy improvement
• Lead and support the professional development and engagement of our Medical Teams
• Support the expansion and growth of AHHH beyond South Australia - through innovation and new models of care and innovation 

About you

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Medical Leader with an understanding of acute, sub-acute and home-based care. You'll combine strategic thinking with practical leadership and have a genuine interest in improving how healthcare is delivered. 

• Registered (AHPRA) Medical Practitioner
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Sound Understanding of clinical governance and medical workforce management

This position is based in Adelaide, South Australia. Please note that only applicants who are currently living in Adelaide (or willing to relocate prior to commencement) will be considered.
