GRC Systems Analyst (Protecht)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced GRC Protecht Systems Analyst for an initial 3‑month daily‑rate contract, with a view to transition to permanent employment. You’ll bring deep technical expertise in the Protecht GRC platform to support the uplift of Medibank’s Compliance Management Framework and help clear a critical backlog of system and process enhancements.

This role will focus on configuring, administering, and optimising our GRC environment to strengthen compliance, improve risk visibility, and enhance reporting across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

GRC System Configuration & Enhancement

• Develop, configure, and optimise the Protecht GRC system to support key components of the Compliance Management Framework (e.g. Incident Management, Obligations Management, Oversight and Assurance).
• Design or redesign system registers to meet evolving business needs.
• Build advanced reports and dashboards to provide autonomous access to compliance and risk insights across all staff levels.

System Administration

• Maintain and administer the GRC platform, including:
• Creating and revoking system access
• Maintaining system registers and conducting routine maintenance
• Communicating upgrades, releases, and system changes
• Engaging with system vendors as required

Vendor & Project Oversight

• Manage external vendors supporting GRC-related work, including:
• Overseeing budgets
• Managing invoicing
• Ensuring timely delivery of project milestones

Core Activities Include

• Cleaning up and optimising the backend of the GRC system.
• Identifying and resolving broken system processes to maintain system integrity.
• Partnering with internal teams and senior leaders to validate requirements and deliver efficient, high‑quality solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven, hands‑on experience with the Protecht GRC platform - this is essential.
• 3–5+ years of experience working with GRC systems in a technical or system‑focused capacity.
• Strong capability in configuring, customising, and administering GRC platforms.
• Solid understanding of risk and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver high‑quality outcomes within tight timelines.
