We are establishing a new Care Service and are seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join the service as foundational team members.

 

This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the ground up, contributing to the establishment and embedding of clinical practice, care models and team culture within a brand-new service supporting patients.

 

The service is located in a city-fringe setting, approximately 4km northeast of the city centre, offering a well-connected and accessible environment.

 

About the Role

Perfect for Enrolled Nurses who thrive on variety, with diverse presentations, build meaningful relationships and provide high quality care. Joining a team at the forefront of care innovation, and delivering care in a cutting-edge setting; you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, in addition to: 

  • Monitor patients progress and report changes to a broader multidisciplinary team 
  • Maintain up to date documentation 
  • Contribute to care planning and patient assessments 
  • Support activities of daily living and administer medications 

 

As a foundational staff member, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to:

  • Establishing clinical standards, processes and care pathways
  • Embedding best-practice documentation and governance
  • Supporting service commencement and early operations
  • Building a positive, collaborative and respectful team culture

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients progress and report changes to a broader multidisciplinary team 
  • Maintain up to date documentation 
  • Contribute to care planning and patient assessments 
  • Support activities of daily living and administer medications 

 

About You

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Enrolled Nurse
  • Experience in acute & sub-acute care
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Hold current First Aid and CPR certificates 
  • Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain). 
  • If successful, willing and able to provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations.
