Join Amplar Health and play a pivotal role in strengthening clinical governance in our Home hospital programs (Transition Care  Service and My Home hospital). This is an opportunity to influence safer, high-quality care at scale while working in a flexible, supportive environment.This is a full time, 12 month parental leave opportunity, open to candidates based in South Australia or Queensland, with a flexible work-from-home model and occasional travel.

 

About the Role

As a Clinical Governance Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to the business—leading clinical risk management, supporting quality and safety, and driving continuous  improvements.You’ll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure best-practice governance frameworks are embedded and continuously enhanced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end management of clinical incidents, complaints, and adverse events
  • Support investigations, risk escalations, and root cause analysis
  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives aligned to organisational priorities
  • Lead clinical audits, accreditation, and credentialing processes
  • Support the design and delivery of clinical governance education and training
  • Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
  • Analyse clinical data and present insightful, actionable reports to stakeholders
  • Partner with leaders to implement quality and patient safety initiatives
  • Monitor and report on clinical KPIs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

 

About You

You are a Registered Nurse with a strong passion for quality and safety, and the ability to influence outcomes in complex healthcare environments.

You will bring:

  • Registration as a nurse 
  • Proven experience in clinical governance, quality, or patient safety roles
  • Background in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Hands-on experience with incident management, investigations, audits, or accreditation
  • Strong analytical and reporting capability, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Confidence engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • proactive, organised mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
