The Opportunity

The key role of the Senior Clinical Compliance Auditor is to audit compliance of Hospital Provider Purchase Agreement (HPPA) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) billing guidelines, HPPA Rehabilitation Service Standards and HPPA Psychiatric Service Standards including any clinically related compliance audits or reviews to resolve erroneous claiming. It is a permanent, part-time role (0.5FTE) which offers the flexibility to work from home. We are looking for candidates based in any of Australia’s metro areas.

 

Your Impact

The position is required to prepare audit data, conduct audits both onsite and at the desk top, prepare detailed audit results findings using a case management system and recover benefit overpayments in line with audit outcomes. The role will drive accurate billing practice and compliance with HPPA and industry standards through onsite and desktop audits and education.

 

About you

You’re a degree qualified and AHPRA registered nurse with at least 3 years post- graduate experience in  a clinical role, ideally in  ICU, Psychiatric or Rehabilitation  units. Previous experience in audit is also critical.

 

Further requirements include:

  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Competent knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Advanced organisational skills and effective time management
  • Strong attention to detail Desirable:
  • Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of the private health insurance sector
  • Interstate travel (subject to any public health order)
