The Opportunity

We have fixed term opportunities for full and part time Quality Assurance and Training Officers to join the HealthStrong/Medibank Team. Based in either NSW or QLD, you will work across residential aged care facilities and ensure that HealthStrong is providing high quality health care wherever our clients reside.


Reporting to the Quality Assurance Lead, you will support quality and continuous improvement activities through auditing, reporting, assessment, planning and implementation. Your duties in this role will include;

  • Conducting audits, analysing results and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives within HealthStrong.
  • Reviewing, adjusting and following up continuous quality improvement initiatives which align with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Working closely with HealthStrong practitioners to ensure compliance with staff education, facility documentation requirements, and program delivery.


About you

With a clinical background in nursing/allied health, you will understand the Aged Care Quality Standards and be familiar with the ACFI. You will be able to demonstrate;

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience working in quality assurance and driving continuous improvement
  • The capacity to work autonomously and integrate into a multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy for and care about our ageing population and aged care community
  • A degree in nursing/allied health
