The Opportunity 

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our NSW team, working on the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie area. This is a permanent part-time (1 day) position with the potential to increase as demand grows.

With a focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday, you will work with a range of clients within community. Supporting and enabling patients to achieve their goals and ultimately helping them participate in and live their best lives, you will provide services across the following packages and programs:

• Home Care Package clients: supporting clients to remain independent at home, through:
  • home assessment, equipment prescription and home modifications.
• Rehab in the home program: focusing on post orthopaedic surgery
• Hospital in the Home program: supporting clients after hospitalisation, including general surgeries

About you

You are a fully AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist, with a minimum 2-3 years’ experience, ideally with experience in a community setting and/or rehab settings and are comfortable working independently.

As a mobile Community OT (with your own vehicle, we provide KM reimbursement), ideally you live on the Central Coast and are comfortable travelling to our client’s homes.
