Your Opportunity


We acknowledge that our teams are integral to the continued success of HSS and as part of Medibank's vision to Deliver Better Health for Better Lives. We currently have vacancies for Hospital Liaison Consultants to join our team in VIC and SA. 


As a Hospital Liaison Consultant, you will combine your clinical experience and customer service expertise to work with various health professionals and organisations to build HSS into the largest virtual hospital in Australia. 


You will liaise, engage, and support referrers, promoting and growing referrals across the continuum of health care providers to HSS for services to patients in their home. You will be knowledgeable about health care practice’s and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members who live and breathe a service centric culture by providing an impeccable experience to consumers and stakeholders. 


You will thrive in a fast paced, results driven and dynamic environment with the ability to think on your feet and problem solve. As an outstanding communicator, your intuitive people skills will be central to your success. Driving accountability across the business to ensure our customer experience exceeds expectations and that complaint resolution consistently delivers to agreed frameworks.

 

What will set you apart from the rest?

 

You will be naturally empathetic, observant, attentive and trustworthy. A proactive communicator, you will naturally form strong connections both internally and externally with all stakeholders.

 

Degree qualified it is essential you bring a clinical background either in nursing or allied health and can demonstrate recent success in a business development/health promotion type of role. Applicants that bring experience from a health, human services or disability industry in a similar role will be highly regarded. 

 

Other essential skills you’ll need;
•    Excellent organisational skills- you are efficient, able to prioritise tasks and just get things done
•    Experience managing complex customer relationships, key accounts, and dealing with commercial issues and program-based services 
•    Effective communicator and presenter, possess the ability to build relationships with new and existing customers
•    Demonstrated business, strategic and commercial acumen
•    Meticulous attention to detail in all scopes of work delivered each & every time
•    Able to communicate with senior stakeholders- be confident and clear in your role
•    Sound IT skills- able to prepare various reports and presentations
•    A flexible work approach to meet the varying demands of an ever-changing and fast-moving environment
•    Professional discretion and able to maintain confidentiality at all times
