The Opportunity

The role

We are on the lookout for a Workplace Relations Advisor to join our People, Culture and Sustainability team in this permanent part time role (0.8 FTE).

This role sits within a supportive, dynamic team and will provide strategic, expert advice across a wide range of workplace and industrial relations matters including:

• • employee conduct
  • policy development
  • organisational change
  • employment contracts
  • acquisitions and divestments
  • case management
  • internal employee investigations
  • legislative and award interpretation
  • enterprise bargaining
  • WR representational work at external tribunals including the Fair Work Commission and discrimination tribunals

This is a role with variety, pace, and impact — you’ll work across the business, solving complex problems and influencing outcomes that matter. We value fresh thinking, adaptability, and a willingness to challenge traditional approaches.

Now, who are you? 

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Strong experience in IR/WR within a large organisation
• Practical, open-minded approach to complex issues
• Familiarity with the Fair Work Act and modern awards
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• A practical, adaptive and open-minded approach 
• Familiarity with the Fair Work Act and modern awards 
• Fresh thinking aligned with evolving work practices (e.g., 4DWW)
