The Opportunity

The Web Platform Lead will be responsible for establishing and defining the technical foundation for front end web frameworks integrating with AEM to define technologies and best practices.

It combines the aspect of leading the frontend developers in the web platform and being hands-on in an agile squad, responsible for developing new solutions to customer facing systems, coding technical prototypes to uplift the platform, mentoring developers and being a developer advocate for driving technical uplift and quality solutions.

 

Where you can add value

  • Define the Web Platform technology roadmap to enable upcoming business capabilities
  • Lead the implementation of web solutions defining frameworks, libraries and cloud technologies
  • Champion agile software development practices such as test-driven development, continuous delivery and take overall responsibility for the technical quality of the solution.
  • Take an active role in mentoring less experienced Developers to develop a strong team, skills and culture around integration that crosses the development, support, infrastructure and data teams.

 

Your Impact

  • Proven experience in leading a small team of developers
  • Hands-on experience as a Lead Full Stack Developer
  • Experience in JavaScript (ES6+), JS frameworks like React and CSS3 (LESS/SASS), HTML5
  • Experience in Cloud Services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Preferable experience with Java and an Enterprise CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager
  • Preferable understanding of APIs, using Serverless and Microservices with knowledge of GraphQL, RESTful and SOAP protocols is advantageous.
