The Opportunity

Reporting to the Marketing Automation Lead, The Marketing Technology Manager is accountable for the management and support for Medibank’s Marketing technology platforms and leading a high performing team of technology experts to deliver business outcomes.   

 

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Technology Manager plays a critical role in managing MarTech landscape by leveraging existing capabilities to optimise business benefits and also identifying emerging technologies that can extend Medibank’s longer-term personalisation goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the Marketing Technology team and play a leadership role in the wider Marketing Automation team 
  • Deliver a plan for continuous improvement and value extraction for Marketing Platforms
  • Governance of data stored across the marketing automation stack and maintenance of the integration frameworks
  • Translation of business requirements to technical outcomes to realise business benefit.
  • Represent the Marketing Automation Team as a SME in wider enterprise technology forums

About You

You will be a strong people leader with extensive experience in managing a team of technical SME’s and a good appreciation for managing SaaS licensing budgets. Salesforce experience is a must and ideally you should be Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud certified and Salesforce consulting experience is a bonus. 

 

You will have 5 – 8 years’ experience in technology, operations, e-commerce or digital marketing in a customer facing organisation along with experience with contact strategy development and in developing automated marketing campaigns based on consumer engagement triggers.
