The Diversity, Inclusion, Sustainability and Community (DISC) Squad is on the look out for a Sustainability Reporting Coordinator to join their team for a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

Sustainability reporting is evolving and gaining importance and traction across Australia with the advent of The Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS).

 

This role presents an opportunity to be at the forefront of implementing the new reporting standards at Medibank and the flow on effect of this change to our other reporting and how we consider climate-related financial disclosures across business as usual. You'll be working in a passionate and committed team who are personally and professionally committed to advancing sustainability.

What your day will look like

  • Execution of project plans for reporting suite and ASRS
  • Keeping track of auditor requests and timelines e.g. maintaining internal register, timelines and minute taking
  • Liaising and following up ASRS stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting data collection across sustainability metrics (range of environmental, social and governance metrics)
  • Liaising with stakeholders on the importance of sustainability and supporting with change management

What we’re looking for

  • A curious person who is comfortable sharing constructive feedback and is confident challenging decisions or ideas at any level. Someone who is at ease engaging in conversations with a broad range of people
  • Experience/awareness of the sustainability space and experience in project management
  • Familiarity with Sustainability / ASRS / TCFD / climate-related financial disclosures reporting
  • A relevant qualification in Sustainability, Business or similar
  • Fully proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products – particularly Excel
