The Opportunity

This is a 6-8 month fixed term contract role as a Sustainability Analyst. You will be supporting the development and execution of Medibank’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and sustainability reporting across the business.  You can be based in any location in Australia. A fantastic opportunity to use your ESG expertise to support a dynamic and experienced team.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Manage and complete Medibank's submissions to industry benchmarks including CDP, CSA/DJSI, ISS, MSCI and Sustainalytics
  • Assist in the implementation of the ESG Strategy and Roadmap
  • Support the development and implementation of best-in-class corporate policy, strategy and direction on sustainability
  • Sustainability governance and reporting
  • Developing policy approaches to support Medibank’s sustainability agenda
  • Develop and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Prepare reports, briefings and communications including Board and Committee papers, employee communications and relevant external communications
  • Lead cross functional teams to ensure the delivery of sustainability goals
  • Supporting projects that further the sustainability agenda and reputation of Medibank and build internal awareness and understanding of ESG

 

About You

You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in ESG. The development of sustainability reports, environmental reporting, community investment and ESG index reporting are second nature. You will have demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder relationships. You will be adaptable with high levels of initiative and focused on delivering results. Experience in submissions to industry benchmarks including CDP, CSA/DJSI, ISS, MSCI and Sustainalytics is essential.
