The opportunity

The Strategy Analyst is responsible for utilising analytics tools & techniques to generate business insights and resolve key questions by developing fact-based strategic recommendations. They will work collaboratively with their colleagues, business owners (and their teams) and subject matter experts (both internal and external) to develop actionable and clear recommendations. The role will also be accountable for answering questions in a timely fashion (within 24-48 hours) from the group exec and his direct reports.

 

Your Impact

Delivering this responsibility involves:

  • Advanced analytics: Using advanced analytics techniques, systems and software to resolve key questions in a timely fashion by developing fact-based strategic recommendations
  • Helping financial products team in defining and automatically tracking business KPIs and OKRs
  • Automating reporting: Some initiatives will require the development and automation of tracking and reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc investigative analytics for strategic decision making

 

About you

To be considered, you will bring advanced analytics skills ideally gained from a strategy role with at least three years’ experience. You are technically savvy and enjoy extracting information from systems, coding, reporting and communicating to stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in structured problem solving and project management expertise is essential. Exposure to/ interest in frontline operations i.e call centre, retail will be highly regarded.
