The Opportunity – Senior Subsidised Health Partnerships Manager   

      

As a Senior Subsidised Health Partnerships Manager within the PHI Portfolio and Corporate Portfolio Division, you will be accountable for subsidised growth across the broker and direct market. You will work closely with the Head of Subsidised Health Partnerships and collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure Medibank is positioned as a healthcare partner to our clients.

 

How you will create value

 

In this broad ranging and crucial role, you will utilise your subject matter expertise to add value to Medibank by:

 

  • Lead and manage tender responses for SME and Tier 1 Subsidised Opportunities and create a robust and long-term pipeline.
  • Drive innovation and health leadership across all brokers and clients to support increasing awareness of the subsidised proposition and our health programs.
  • Project Manage and strive for continuous improvement with launches of subsidised health plans, B2C sales models.
  • Support the proposition team to design propositions to position Medibank for future growth.
  • Identification of new business opportunities to support the partnership in achieving its objectives and purpose.
  • Capitalise on health and wellbeing opportunities to position Medibank as exclusive provider on H&WB services.
  • Develop and submit new business proposals and tender responses working with all key internal stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure a high standard of personal effectiveness in the areas of time management, problem solving, influencing, decision making, and relationship building.

 

About you

 

You will bring proven experience in Subsidised Health Insurance, specifically working with the Broker sector. You will bring proven stakeholder management and relationship skills.

 

Other key experience includes:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in a high pressure B2B new business sales environment with proven success in managing account sales strategies.
  • Proven ability to build a pipeline and consistently secure the deal.
  • Strong ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, negotiate and influence.
  • High level of energy and a unique ability to engage with staff, customers & stakeholders Proven ability in developing and leveraging multiple relationships to effectively network a client organisation in order to drive organic sales.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
