The Role

The ServiceNow Specialist is an exciting strategic & technical role where you’ll provide expert guidance and leadership in designing, implementing and governing the ServiceNow platform. You’ll help align the platform with business strategy, drive enhancements and ensure we meet governance standards.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
  • Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, policies and processes.
  • Create & maintain process and knowledge documentation for the team and end users of the platform.
  • Align ServiceNow platform with capabilities with overall business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap.
  • Lead & participate in governance processes, including Program Governance and Demand Management.
  • Create and maintain a detailed architectural view of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Serve as an SME on development and support of the ServiceNow Platform for ITSM, CSM, SecOps, ITOM applications.  

About You

  • Extensive experience in ServiceNow System Administration and application development.
  • Experience in providing application support in ServiceNow.
  • Relevant certifications in ServiceNow (including Systems Specialist/Application development).
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow common data model, CMDB, customizations v/s configurations, release management, performance management and platform health management.
  • Experience implementing multiple ServiceNow products such as ITSM, CSM, ITOM, GRC, SecOps & custom apps.
  • General understanding of ServiceNow licensing.
  • Understanding of and/or the ability to adapt to both Waterfall & Agile project methodologies.
  • Strong communicator both verbally and written.
