Our national home healthcare business provides care and wellbeing services in alternative settings to hospitals.


Homecare delivers a number of hospital, nursing and Allied Health services to patients in the home, including wound management, rehab in the home and infusions such as chemo in the home. Our allied health team also deliver pain management and physiotherapy into Residential Aged Care facilities and CareComplete helps Australians with chronic and complex health conditions such as heart disease, osteoarthritis, and diabetes to better coordinate and support them in their care.


The Opportunity


Working within the Homecare division of Medibank, this role will be responsible for developing the reporting function, building and maintaining dashboards and performing investigative analysis.


Your Impact


Working closely with other analysts in the division, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer reporting and management reporting across the Homecare division for its three business units; HSS, Healthstrong and CareComplete
  • Ensuring effective communication to relevant stakeholders including timely status reports and risk / issue management
  • Developing strong working relationships with Project and Operations teams
  • Performing ad hoc analyses and developing presentations for executive audiences
  • Leading the diagnosis of reporting and analytics problems to understand the root causes, including gathering and analysing data
  • Data driven analytics for insight into opportunities to grow virtual hospitals, aged care and integrated propositions.


About you


With Tertiary qualifications in a commerce, economics, mathematics, statistics, public health or other related discipline, you are a strategic thinker with demonstrated achievements in statistical, economic and/or other quantitative analyses. You’re experienced in creating engaging and effective analysis artefacts including reports, papers and presentations. You’re also familiar with the Australian health and human service sectors and policy context.


The technical skills required are as follows:

  • Tableau desktop including using Tableau Server to publish dashboards and datasets
  • Demonstrated experience in management of large datasets to ensure integrity, quality, accuracy and privacy of data for analysis.
  • Strong ability to present information in MS applications such Excel, PowerPoint and Word to an executive level
  • SalesForce reporting ideal but not mandatory
