We’re looking for a passionate senior quality analyst in test automation with a track record of working with high performance QA teams and achieving extraordinary delivery outcomes via automated testing. 

As a Senior Quality Analyst - Automation on the Enterprise Digital team, you will expected to perform testing on the digital platforms using test automation approaches/standards to feed into the CI/CD approach. You will be an integral member of the product and project team so it will be expected for you to share our knowledge and work towards continuous improvement in our testing practices.  

The Responsibilities:  

• Developing test automation frameworks from the scratch and building test scripts. 

• Build and develop processes for identifying test conditions and then transformed them into test cases prior to utilising Digital’s automation framework and process (BDD). 

• Be an active player in assisting, evaluating and enhancing CI/CD process. 

• Coordinate with Test lead to identify test coverage. 

• Reporting on the defect retest and regression testing. 

• Enhance/update automation scripts wherever required using current automation framework. 

• Documenting and highlighting potential risk and issues to the testing team. 

• Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure the solution is fit for purpose and aligns with customer needs and experience. 

• Be part of all sprint cadences and provide inputs on testing tasks and estimates.  

• Support quality assurance standards detailed within the Medibank digital test strategy and test policy. 

• Participate in regular process improvement sessions with team members and feedback to your people leader. 

About You:

• Proven experience in a similar Senior testing role within API testing. 

• Strong knowledge of ShiftLeft approach. 

• Worked within an agile environment utilising BDD 

• Hands on experience with Postman, Selenium, Appium, Espresso, XCUITests, Playwright, nodejs based automation frameworks. 

• Experience in visual and accessibility testing. 

• Good understanding of API’s, Rest Assured, Postman tools 

• Understanding of test levels, test types and varied advanced test techniques

• Ideally some experience with Jira, GitHub but not essential
