The Role

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Product Designer to join us on an initial 6 month fixed term contract with a view of extension. This is an exciting opportunity to make a major impact on our identity & authentication project.

As a Senior Product Designer at ahm, you will provide design expertise and be responsible for the success and design of innovative and engaging solutions. You will work across multiple initiatives in a collaborative and customer-focused way, participating in all stages of the design process, from discovery through to delivery. You help shape the strategy of your squad by advocating for our customers. Your ultimate motivation is to craft great end-to-end experiences.

This opportunity is suitable for a mid or senior level product designer than has worked in product squad environments.

The Responsibilities:

• Identify problem spaces, validate, design, and iterate on new products and services in health & wellbeing markets.
• Create design artifacts like user flows, customer journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Use quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze user behavior.
• Transform complex jobs-to-be-done into intuitive, accessible designs.
• Contribute to team’s ways of working and set foundations for quick iterative, agile processes.
• Work closely with multiple business stakeholders across Medibank Group, including clinical, marketing, legal, tech, research, and design.
• Handle ambiguity and drive concepts from ideation to delivery in collaboration with the product manager.
• Advocate for the design process and customer needs.
• Create customer advocates through valued digital interactions.
• Rapidly prototype and test problem validation to build new products in the health and wellness space.
• Deliver responsive and accessible solutions.
• Contribute to team processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional tech teams.

About You

• Experienced in fast-paced agile product teams is essential.
• Experience in Identity/Authentication preferred but not essential.
• Any experience with Auth0/Okta or any alternatives is very beneficial.
• Minimum of 4+ years in UX/UI/Product Design roles (or similar).
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, Miro, Dovetail.
• Leading discovery and validation research.
• Designing complex, end-to-end product experiences.
• Facilitating workshops and co-design sessions.
• Creating high-fidelity prototypes and design systems.
