The role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, Live Better, the Senior Operations Manager is an exciting opportunity to join the Live Better team for a 10-month fixed term contract.

Medibank’s Live Better team are enabling a more proactive and personalised experience for our customers, as well as expanding Medibank's health and wellbeing proposition – Live Better

 

Where you can add value

We are looking for a strong people leader with a passion for the digital space and has the customer front of mind in all decisions, you will add value through;

 

  • Leading Ops systems and process optimisation and automation (Snr Ops Mgr is ‘accountable’ and the Live Better delivery team is ‘responsible’)

 

  • Maintaining and optimising standardised operating models, delivery cadences and ways of working (agile). Iterating the models using insights from across the enterprise with a view transform the Live Better Operations capability to become an Operations ‘centre of excellence’

 

  • Maintaining all systems, platforms, technology and processes that drive the ‘back end’ of the Live Better program; including ownership of system access and configuration

 

  • Leading a team of 3 reports and 2 indirect reports to deliver Live Better’s objectives and key results (OKRs)

 

About you  

You will have extensive digital experience and ideally experience in supporting a customer focused application. You will have strong process development and optimisation experience along with experience supporting SaaS platforms. You will have a flexible and team-oriented approach, with follow-up skills, strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task. Ideally you have partnered with vendors before and understand how to drive outcomes and results through this model.
