The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Workforce is a strategic leadership role that will maximise the operational agility, availability and productivity of the workforce who provide community and virtual health care services across our health brand, Amplar Health.


Reporting to the Head of Operations – Amplar Health, you will lead the workforce planning and provider network teams nationally to understand the strategic growth projections across Amplar Health’s Telehealth and Homecare business lines, determine our future workforce requirements and devise a strategy for the workforce we need to achieve this.  The role can be based in any location.


You will be accountable for:

  • Leading the strategic and commercial transformation of how Amplar Health contracts with, manages and maintains its external provider networks.
  • Building strategic plans for future workforce planning and provider network management, ensuring the implementation of all short term and long-term forecasting capability and reporting for the business, consisting of an inhouse fixed labour workforce, casual workforce and a large contingent provider network. 
  • Delivering an optimisation agenda that will ensure the Amplar telehealth and community workforce is utilised by consistently improving efficiency and shaping the business to service both current and future needs of our customers.
  • Develop a governance structure with our broker and agency network ensuring compliance and profitability and set strategic targets for broker & agency usage



About You

You bring a strategic mindset with significant experience in understanding growth strategies and leading workforce planning in complex multifaceted environments. With knowledge of workforce planning tools and excellent analytical and problem solving skills, you are an experienced people leader who is driven by building culture, engagement and capability to support the development of your team.
