The Opportunity


This role is responsible for end to end delivery of initiatives across Medibank and ahm’s Consumer Portfolio. Our projects focus on innovation, better ways of working, future workforces, and continuous improvement. This role will lead initiatives in optimisation, proposition development, product features, and partner on boarding.


More about the role


  • You will support the portfolio strategy by overseeing the delivery of both short-term initiatives and end-to-end propositions to drive growth over the short, medium and longer term. Leading teams, internal and external stakeholders by driving the evolution of initiatives from concept to reality ensuring the business objectives and key results are achieved.
  • You will deliver compelling, competitively superior propositions that deliver to target customer value propositions, the role leads the full product lifecycle from ideation through to product closure. Look towards the future and source opportunities for innovation across the business by introducing best practice, providing external perspectives and performing retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • You will have the opportunity to be deeply involved in all aspects of business proposition delivery including contributing to creative solution design and assisting with estimation and feasibility ensuring that successful delivery of propositions to market result in a superior customer and partner experience.


About You


You are degree-qualified with 5 years + experience in delivering business outcomes. With a passion for delivery and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You embrace a dynamic fast paced environment where delivery is all about empowering teams and individuals to excel at what they do best. Health or insurance industry knowledge will be highly-regarded, as will any relevant experience in a project delivery role or scrum, lean and agile.


Communication, collaboration and stakeholder management are key attributes for this role. You will need to bring together and lead cross functional delivery streams across multiple business units while managing business and senior stakeholder expectations by using strong negotiation and influencing skills. You must also be able to deal with complexity, be able to think on your feet and know how, and when, to get the right people together to unpick the complex and drive collaborative solutions.


You have exposure to agile sprint based delivery tools such as Trello or JIRA, bring excellent analytical skills and business case development experience.
