The Role

As the Senior IDAM Specialist you will be involved in maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the Medibank. You will use a range of tools by CyberArk and SailPoint to ensure robust identity governance, secure privileged access management, and seamless user lifecycle management. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IAM strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect sensitive data.

This is an exciting time for a Senior IDAM Specialist to join as we intend on growing the team and enhancing IDAM within Medibank.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage IAM solutions with a focus on SaaS offerings from CyberArk (Privileged Access Management) and SailPoint (Identity Governance).
  • Maintain role-based access control (RBAC), identity provisioning, mover and de-provisioning processes.
  • Ensure accurate identity synchronization across systems and platforms.
  • Manage and oversee the access certification campaign.
  • Manage SaaS offering from CyberArk to manage privileged accounts securely.
  • Monitor privileged account activities, ensure compliance, and address vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct periodic audits and remediation of PAM policies.
  • Assist with the ongoing onboarding of systems and privileged accounts.
  • Leverage SaaS offering from SailPoint to automate user access reviews, certifications, and policy enforcement.
  • Analyse and optimize access workflows, ensuring efficient and compliant user lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain access policies.
  • Maintain SoD (Separation of Duties).
  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to align IAM practices with the organization’s security framework.
  • Stay updated on emerging IAM technologies, trends, and security threats.
  • Mentor and support members of the team in new principles and best practice.
  • Drive improvements to existing IAM processes and systems.

About You

  • 4+ years of proven hands-on experience in implementing and managing CyberArk PAM and SailPoint IGA solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IAM, PAM, and identity governance concepts.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and MFA solutions.
  • Scripting languages, e.g. PowerShell are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to identity and access management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration abilities and technical leadership skills to drive collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in following Technical Change Management and Problem Management processes.
