The Opportunity  

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, to help shape and deliver the technical direction of our digital platform. As part of a collaborative Full Stack TypeScript team, you'll work across both front-end and back-end development, building high-quality, scalable and maintainable software that delivers exceptional customer experiences.

You'll join a customer-focused, agile environment where design, engineering and product work closely together to create mobile-first digital experiences. This is an opportunity to work across the entire software development lifecycle, influence technical decisions, adopt emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop and deliver high-quality, production-ready software across the full stack.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and product teams to build customer-centric digital experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, with a strong focus on performance, reliability and security.
• Contribute to application architecture and promote best practices in software engineering.
• Participate in Agile delivery practices and support a SecDevOps culture.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve complex technical issues across applications.
• Support continuous improvement through the evaluation and implementation of new tools, technologies and ways of working.
• Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and helping create a strong engineering culture.
• Contribute to technical discussions, team practices and roadmap planning to help drive business outcomes

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering, ideally within digital product environments.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript across the full stack.
• Experience with React (or similar front-end frameworks).
• Experience with Node.js, Express, or equivalent back-end technologies.
• Strong knowledge of modern HTML, CSS and maintainable styling approaches.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, npm and modern build tools such as Next.js or Vite.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices, semantic versioning and modern software delivery principles.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.
• Experience working in autonomous, cross-functional teams.
