You’re only human.

It’s a strange thing to say, because us humans are capable of incredible things. And at Medibank, we know our greatest potential lies in the people who work with us.

We strive to make real, fundamental change, driven by a simple purpose: to create the best health and wellbeing for all of Australia.

At Medibank, everything we do is driven by our purpose: Better Health for Better Lives. With over 3.7 million members, we’re evolving from a traditional health insurer into a broader health services company – and we’re looking for passionate people to help us on that journey.

We’re seeking a Senior Commercial Performance Analyst, Corporate and Overseas to join our team. This role is pivotal in helping us unlock insights that drive smarter decisions, better outcomes, and greater value for our members and the business.

Your impact

As a Senior Analyst, you’ll be the analytical powerhouse behind our corporate and overseas programs. You’ll:

  • Deliver high-quality data analysis and dashboards to measure performance against KPIs and business cases.
  • Generate actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and continuous program improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to translate data into meaningful stories and recommendations.
  • Champion data quality, governance, and continuous improvement in our analytics capability.
  • Decide of your day is best spent working from home or the office, as we don’t have mandated office attendance days here at Medibank.

What you bring

First and foremost, you’re a curious, strategic thinker who thrives in complexity and ambiguity. You bring:

  • Demonstrated experience working with large, complex data sets using SQL (Teradata/SAS) and Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau and data visualisation best practices.
  • A knack for turning data into commercial insights that influence strategy.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus points if you’ve worked in business strategy, finance or customer analytics domains.

Here at Medibank, we are committed to creating a healthier Australia – and that starts with our people. For us, this includes flexible work and continuous improvement to our ways of working. This team is currently trialling a 4 day work week, which means putting tools down and using the extra time to focus on something to improve your personal health and wellbeing.
