The Opportunity
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for digital transformation? We are seeking a Senior Digital Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Delivery team within Customer Technology & Delivery. This role is pivotal in shaping customer-centric digital solutions that enhance experience, retention, and self-service across desktop and mobile platforms.
You’ll work across the full delivery lifecycle, from feasibility to supporting testing and transition, while also helping uplift our Business Analysis Practice. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
*Please note that this is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the elicitation and documentation of business and system requirements across digital and enterprise initiatives.
- Break down complex initiatives into epics, user stories, and customer journeys using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions with internal teams and external vendors to drive innovative solutions.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through design, build, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Medibank’s BA Practice, mentoring team members and sharing knowledge.
- Support compliance with Medibank’s policies and regulatory obligations, while driving quality and operational excellence.
Must haves:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis, with a strong track record across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid SDLCs.
- Proven experience working on digital platforms and initiatives, with a clear understanding of customer-centric digital solutions.
- Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and translate complex requirements into actionable insights.
- Expertise in process mapping and requirement documentation (including user stories).
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering business value through digital innovation.
