The Opportunity – Senior Analyst Finance Systems

As a Senior Analyst – Finance Systems within the Financial Control Division, you will have an interest in data management and process and bring to the role a technical understanding in this area. This role will work closely with the Finance Systems Service Manager in providing day-to-day service of Medibank’s Finance Master Data Management services to a range of business functions. You will support users of SAP and other finance systems while playing a key role in managing access governance across our finance platforms.

How you will create value

In this broad ranging and crucial role, you will use your exceptional Finance and Systems skills to add value to Medibank by:

Supporting the end-to-end governance of our finance systems and data.

Manage the day-to-day Master Data Management request across all finance functions/systems.

Prepare and document our finance systems access governance requirements.

Maintain and improve various finance master data elements and co-ordinate with other business functions.

Support the execution of periodic analysis of master data integrity across all finance operating systems and integrity reports.

Maintain system-to-system control and governance activities.

Work with key stakeholders to set governance and timelines around key data requirements to support the enterprise planning, month end and year end reporting cycles.

Identify improvement opportunities for better Master Data Management and Finance System usage.

Ensure documentation of all processes are in place.

About you

You have proven Financial Systems experience, particularly with SAP S/4 HANA and have a demonstrated understanding of SAP Master Data Management processes. Experience in Private Health Insurance will be viewed favourably.

Other key experience includes:

CA or CPA qualified preferred.

Proven SAP S/4 HANA experience.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Demonstrated problem solving skills and can creatively work towards solutions.
