About the role:

We are looking for a hands on Security Automation Engineering Lead to own and grow our Security Automation capability. You’ll provide technical leadership and deliver practical engineering for security services including SIEM/SOAR platforms, a Security Data Lake, Continuous Assurance, GitOps for security, a security exemption engine, and other automation initiatives. You’ll lead a team of DevOps engineers to build infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, orchestration, and self-service platforms that turn manual security work into automated, intelligence-driven operations supporting our 2030 Vision.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead design, build and operation of security automation platforms (SIEM, SOAR, Security Data Lake, Continuous Assurance)
• Create and maintain IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), GitOps workflows, and CI/CD pipelines for security tooling
• Develop container orchestration and deployment patterns for security services (Kubernetes/Docker)
• Build reusable automation frameworks, REST APIs and microservices for security integrations
• Implement security data pipelines for log aggregation, normalization, enrichment and analysis
• Develop automated testing, monitoring, logging and alerting for security platforms
• Mentor and lead DevOps engineers; conduct code reviews and shape engineering standards
• Collaborate with Security Ops, Product Security, Cloud and application teams to deliver automation and platform integrations
• Participate in on-call rotation and present roadmaps/metrics to stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps/engineering roles with strong hands-on delivery experience
• Expert Python; working knowledge of Go, Bash or PowerShell
• Advanced IaC experience (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker and container security experience
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or AWS DevOps)
• Deep familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) — IAM, networking, compute, storage
• Strong Git/GitOps workflow experience
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices
• Experience deploying/managing AI/ML platform components and optimizing workloads
• Observability tooling experience (Prometheus, Grafana or similar)

Highly desirable:

• Cloud security experience
• Threat hunting, behavioural detection or data analytics experience
• Familiarity with data engineering platforms (Kafka, Spark)
• DevOps/SRE certifications
