The Role

We’re looking for a SAP Senior Functional Consultant to be part of the team that leads the delivery of SAP functional design and supports the business in achieving its strategic and operational goals. This role requires a solid understanding of both business processes and functional components of SAP and requires the ability to translate between the two with all levels of stakeholders.

The role will cover both Production Support and Project Enhancements across the SAP CRM (OSCAR) application and requires a strong understanding of the functionality and integration of SAP CRM in the overall OSCAR landscape and external systems.

The Responsibilities:

• Own and manage strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, understanding their strategy, goals and key drivers and providing SAP CRM solutions that support those needs.
• Be able to facilitate discussions about solutions, delivery timing, strategic vs tactical trade-offs and priority calls with stakeholders at all levels.
• Participate in architectural-level discussions about the integration of SAP (OSCAR) systems with other Medibank and external systems.
• Participate in weekly delivery planning, quarterly planning and estimation forums to represent OSCAR CRM initiatives.
• Provide subject matter expertise in how SAP CRM modules integrate with other SAP modules.
• Oversee project resources/external vendor resources delivering design artefacts to ensure that they meet Medibank Requirements.
• Participate in SAP CRM major project and smaller enhancement work.
• Develop necessary documentation to assist the development resources.
• Lead and/or particupate in requirements and design workshops.
• Provide support to Medibank’s SAP CRM (OSCAR) system.
• Personally execute, or provide direction to support partners/vendors in, function configuration of SAP CRM solution to support business requirements.

About You

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in SAP CRM Functional Consultant role.
• Experience across full lifecycle of a Complex project.
• Demonstrated SAP functional experience both in Production support and projects.
• Ability to liaise with Stakeholders of all levels.
• Strong knowledge of SAP architecture.
• Experience managing the configuration and testing of SAP systems.
• Technical experience in SAP UI5 and OData highly regarded, but not mandatory.
• Excellent functional knowledge and gap analysis, understanding in detail how the business operates to ensure you can provide the best solutions possible for the business.
• Experience on at least 2 full end-to-end SAP Implementations preferably across multiple industries.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in either IT or Business Disciplines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills that includes proven coordination and documentation of business process requirements.
• Experience in the private health insurance industry is highly desirable
