The Opportunity


Reporting to the Head of SAP Practice the SAP Integration Specialist’s role is a hands-on technical position and will provide integration services for both project and operational teams for all of Medibank’s SAP solutions. Working within our large SAP team this is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your strong SAP integration experience and grow your career with Medibank.


Where you can add value


  • Proactively remain abreast of and conduct research into SAP’s technical product offerings and help translate these into Medibank’s SAP integration roadmap
  • Develop relationships with subject matter experts with the objective of understanding the business processes and key business drivers.
  • Establish integration design patterns and development standards for use by team/vendors to ensure quality and reusability of components
  • Document end-to-end business integration flows to support the new or changed business requirements
  • Identify continuous improvements of key integration components by setting up increased automation, monitoring and alerting


About you


You are an experienced SAP professional with a wealth of hands on experience in SAP PI and cloud integration technologies. You will have a strong ability in solution architecture along with experience in Graphical Mapping, UDFs, XSLT and Java mapping. Ideally you will have experience with adapters such as (FILE, IDOC, IDOC_AAE, RFC, JDBC, SOAP, MDM, JMS, HTTP, HTTP_AAE and MAIL) and have hands on experience integrating with SAP Cloud Platform.

You will have strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills and be comfortable working within an environment with many business critical, highly complex interfaces with a can-do attitude.
