The role

In this position you will be responsible for technical support and leadership on SAP systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for performance monitoring, and systems configuration, design and implementation.


Your impact

Reporting to the SAP IT Manager you will join a close-knit team, you will impact in this role by:

  • Acting as the interface with all stakeholders to ensure that the technical solution being developed is consistent with the standards and policies that have been developed by IT and will meet the agreed requirements.
  • Work with the technical teams to complete the detailed technical design of each component of the architecture. This may include coordinating specific benchmark tests, developing sizing metrics, conducting vendor evaluations and conducting interoperability tests to ensure that the architecture components integrate into a cohesive solution.
  • Managing SAP basis workload and deliverables and providing SAP production and development support


About you

Key to your success in this role is your ability to work within a team and communicate effectively across teams and external stakeholders. Naturally proactive, you enjoy working collaboratively and solving problems in a team. You will also have:

  • 5+ years’ experience with SAP Basis/Netweaver administration
  • 4+ full implementation project lifecycles across Netweaver and ERP products
  • 2+ SAP version upgrade projects

Experience in the following:

  • CRM 7.03 Web UI & BSP administration and troubleshooting
  • CRM 7.03 Middleware (BDOC, tRFC queues admin etc) integration with ECC6 administration & troubleshooting
  • VMC administration and patching
  • Live Cache administration and CRM integration
  • SAP Cloud Services
  • S/4 Hana Applications
  • AWS
