The Opportunity
Join Amplar Health as a Risk Manager, where you’ll play a critical role in supporting our Primary Care business through a period of exciting growth and integration. Acting as the first line of defence, you’ll provide expert risk and compliance advice, facilitate risk management activities, and develop and assess business controls to ensure we meet our obligations and deliver safe, high-quality healthcare.
Your Impact
This role is central to embedding a strong risk and compliance culture across our health services. You’ll work closely with clinical and operational teams to implement Operational Risk and Compliance frameworks, helping us maintain trust and excellence in health service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Model positive risk culture behaviours to support business growth and manage risk
- Conduct risk assessments to identify, analyse, and evaluate risks across our primary care health services.
- Provide practical risk advice to healthcare professionals, business managers and executive.
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of risk mitigation strategies
- Support incident management and ensure learnings lead to quality improvements
- Support accurate reporting and insights for relevant risk committees.
- Maintain risk profiles in risk management systems to ensure compliance and transparency.
Key Details
This is a full time Permanent position with flexibility to work from home and one of our offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Adelaide.
About You
You’re an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with clinicians and operational teams. Ideally, you bring:
- Experience in risk, assurance, and compliance within a healthcare or health services environment (or strong understanding of healthcare operations).
- Exposure to operational risk management and controls testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, risk-based environment.
