The Opportunity – Project Finance Manager
As a Project Finance Manager within the Finance & Strategy Division, you will be responsible for overseeing all finance aspects of project work across Medibank. You will provide advice, manage project budgets and forecasts and further reporting to Senior Management. In this role, you will have two direct reports.
How you will create value
In this broad ranging and crucial role, you will use your experience in commercial finance skills to add value to Medibank by:

Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Medibank & Amplar Finance teams, and Group Finance function.

Support the Planning, Performance and Enablement Hub Lead and Amplar Chief Financial Officer, to build annual plans and strategy for investment funding.

Prepare monthly project reporting for Executive stakeholders and a range of different areas in the business, including PHI and Amplar Finance teams.

Ensuring all aspects of project cost and benefit accounting, phasing of costs, reporting and tracking for the Medibank Group is performed in an accurate, complete and timely manner.

Work with Finance Business Partners and Strategy teams to prepare project financials for the annual Corporate Plan.

Manage and produce all project costs, on-going costs and benefit reporting (financial and insights) for various Stakeholders and audiences across Medibank.

Manage relationships with project stakeholders to enhance forecasting and reporting information and outcomes.

Provide advice and support for all project finance related matters.
About you
You will bring proven experience in Financial Project Management as well as the ability to maintain and form strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Other key experience includes:

CA or CPA qualified or equivalent qualification

Over 8 years of experience in commercial finance or finance business partner roles

Strong analytical skills, seasoned business judgment and commercial acumen.

Demonstrated change management skills, focused on continuous improvement and leading change

Knowledge of SAP, general ledger and BPC (business planning and consolidation)

A strong understanding of IT systems and components.
