At Medibank, we’re building a health system that puts customers first. This role sits within the Thrive Hub, supporting the Life Insurance & Boosts squad to deliver and manage meaningful, customer-led products that drive engagement and growth.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day performance and optimisation of our Life Insurance and Boosts portfolio. You’ll work across a mix of established products and emerging propositions, protecting value, driving growth, improving customer experience and delivering on strategic priorities.
About the Role
This is a hands-on product role focused on delivering strong commercial and customer outcomes. You’ll manage retention, portfolio performance, identify growth opportunities and bring new initiatives to life - working closely with third party administrators, as well as internal teams across Digital, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping the roadmap, improving customer journeys and strengthening how our products are delivered across channels and partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day performance of the Life & Boosts portfolio, driving growth, retention and value
- Deliver initiatives across customer engagement, product optimisation and new propositions
- Manage the performance of off sale products, by identifying retention initiatives and customer-led solutions
- Use data and insights to identify opportunities, inform decisions and track performance
- Present key findings and recommendations at regular forums
- Improve end-to-end customer journeys across digital and assisted channels
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver outcomes
- Support governance, reporting and continuous improvement across the portfolio
About You
- 3-5 years’ experience in product, portfolio or insurance/financial services environments with thorough insurance product knowledge
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end growth, optimisation or customer experience initiatives
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to collaborate across cross-functional teams and strong ability to influence
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
- Experience working across digital channels, customer journeys and distribution
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and ambiguity
