The role

As Portfolio Manager – Life Insurance, you’ll be at the forefront of growing our portfolio and bringing new ideas to life. Working closely with the Product Manager – Life Insurance, you’ll help shape the strategy, drive initiatives from concept to delivery, and ensure our products stay competitive, relevant, and customer-focused.

Day to day this role will see you

  • Turning insights into action — optimising our portfolio and delivering initiatives that drive sustainable growth.
  • Bringing innovation to market — supporting the design and launch of new products and propositions.
  • Driving adoption — finding new ways to connect life insurance with our Private Health Insurance members to meet more of their financial wellbeing needs, including making the most of our channels, including our retail store network.
  • Creating advantage — leading the optimisation roadmap so our products continue to meet customer needs today and in the future.

  • Has solid experience in the life insurance industry and understands what drives value.
  • Brings proven experience identifying opportunities and delivering product enhancements or improvements.
  • Demonstrates strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Is a confident communicator who builds trusted, positive relationships with ease.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, enjoys problem-solving, and is energised by growth.
