People Insights Specialist

At Medibank, we’re reimagining what great work looks like. As our People Insights Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we listen to our people, understand their experience and turn insight into action that drives meaningful change. 

This role leads Medibank’s enterprise employee engagement and listening approach, combining rigorous analytics and human‑centred insight to inform executive, Board and enterprise decision‑making. You’ll also support key work.reinvented initiatives, targetted at bringing us closer to our vision of being the healthiest workplace in Australia. 

This is a 13‑month parental leave cover, specialist centre‑of‑excellence role with strong exposure to senior leaders.  

What you’ll do 

• Lead Medibank’s enterprise employee listening strategy, including surveys, pulses and targeted listening 

• Decide if your day is best spent working from home or the office. We don’t go for mandated office attendance days here at Medibank  

• Analyse engagement and experience data to uncover key drivers, risks and opportunities 

• Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for executives, the Board and senior forums 

• Act as system owner for our employee survey platform and manage vendor partnerships 

• Enable leaders with insights, tools and guidance to drive meaningful action 

• Contribute measurement and insight expertise to innovative ways of working initiatives 

What you’ll bring 

• Solid experience in employee engagement, people analytics, organisational psychology or related fields 

• Strong experience designing, delivering and analysing employee surveys 

• Proven ability to translate data into actionable, executive‑ready insights 

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills 

• A human‑centred, future‑focused mindset with strong execution capability 

• Experience working with survey platforms or vendors (desirable)
