The Opportunity
This 12‑month fixed‑term opportunity as an Organisational Development (OD) Partner will see you play a pivotal role in delivering OD strategies that support Medibank’s purpose, Work.Reinvented vision, and enterprise priorities. You’ll partner with leaders, People Partners and cross‑functional teams to design and implement initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness, build capability and drive sustainable change.
Your work will influence culture, leadership, team effectiveness and the employee experience - helping Medibank remain adaptable, innovative and future‑ready.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and delivering OD initiatives that align with business goals and workforce needs.
- Translating strategic priorities into actionable, outcomes‑focused programs.
- Partnering with senior leaders and People Partners to co‑create impactful OD solutions.
- Facilitating workshops, discussions and interventions that build capability and embed change.
- Using data and feedback to understand problems and create solutions.
- Driving innovation in OD practices that enhance experiences and improve ways of working.
- Supporting large‑scale change and transformation programs across the enterprise.
- Coaching leaders and People Partners to effectively facilitate OD activities.
About You
You’re a proactive, collaborative OD professional who enjoys solving complex organisational challenges. You’re comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels and you bring a blend of strategic thinking, facilitation capability and strong consulting skills.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience delivering OD initiatives in a complex environment.
- Capability to give strong advice, see the bigger picture, and influence results.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders to drive organisational change.
- Skills across facilitation, coaching and capability building.
- The ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and evaluate impact.
- Adaptability, curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Confidence using digital collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Teams, SharePoint).
A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in organisational development, psychology, HR or a related field is highly regarded.
