The role:

 

The Member Engagement Manager is the squad lead for Medibank's Live Better Scale-up squad, part of our Health and Wellbeing Crew.

 

This strategic and operational role will work with multiple internal stakeholders and Marketing SMEs to deliver a holistic acquisition marketing strategy for the Live Better Rewards app.

  • Success in this role will be realised through championing the member needs via strong cross functional collaboration within the business and planning delivery via the broader marketing function.
  • This role is underpinned by deep customer insights backed by extensive primary and secondary research, industry insights, product knowledge and data.
  • You possess a strong skill set in internal communication, are a natural collaborator, an effective influencer, and a trusted partner to key stakeholders.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Proactively engage stakeholders to understand Live Better scale-up performance drivers, opportunities and KPI’s to help shape ideas into execution.
  • Clearly identify market opportunity and sizing, with respect to customer segment.
  • Lead the Live Better Scale-up squad, a cross-functional team to plan, prioritize and manage integrated marketing plans.
  • Develop a cohesive and holistic quarterly plan, aligned to the broader marketing plan, for delivery via marketing functions. 
  • Utilise problem solving strategies to alleviate roadblocks for the Live Better Scale-up squad.
  • Follow the One team One process workflow planning and execution of all cross-functional activity to monitor the delivery and effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.

 

Your qualifications and experience:

 

  • You must have a Marketing degree or similar.
  • You have 5 years or more experience in digital marketing.
  • You have experience specialising in sophisticated customer journey’s across multiple segments.
  • You’re savvy with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and have used it to deliver both highly targeted ad-hoc, triggered campaigns and journeys.
  • You’re familiar with different types of marketing functions from market research, brand, member engagement, acquisition, retention and sponsorship.
  • You are extremely performance driven, result focused, analytical, have strong problem-solving skills and thrive on ambiguity.
