The role:

 

It’s an exciting time to join Medibank because as we move into a new financial year our Customer and Portfolio teams are looking to tackle key enterprise focus areas by being nimbler and more innovative with high autonomy & high alignment.

 

As Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform Developer, you’ll be accountable for the implementation of Push notifications to our two core apps. This will involve building out the connection, managing the full implementation and designing the data flow and prioritisation matrix.

 

Where you can add value:

 

  • Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system data models which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the Medibank tech stack.
  • Gather requirements, design, build and maintain push solution across two apps, sending notifications to both simultaneously while adhering to contact policy.
  • Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and design and build optimal system functionality within Salesforce system.
  • Assist journey and campaign owners to develop customer audience segments Push campaigns.
  • Configure Data driven segments for sending optimisation along with sample segments for testing based on SQL.
  • Provide frontline support for any data issues or campaign failures for all push comms executions through marketing cloud, including any repurpose events or API notifications to source systems.
  • Create, manage and present an actionable Blueprint that aligns a customer's business needs to the recommended Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution.

 

About you:

 

  • You have 2 – 4 years’ experience in technology, development or Info management in a customer facing organisation.
  • You have experience with API development in the Salesforce platform.
  • You have extensive experience in the implementation of Mobile studio, focussing on Mobile Push.
  • You’ll have demonstrated experience in translating business requirements into technology or process outcomes.
  • You’re proficient with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and experience with Salesforce Mobile Studio and all its components.
  • You’ll have Ampscript, Javascript and HTML experience with some familiarity with SSJS + Automation Studio to make API calls.
  • You’ll have sound knowledge of SQL-based query activities for audience segmentation, reporting and data extracts.
