 The role: 


The Marketing technology and Integration Manager is responsible for the management of data, integrations and ROI of key cloud-based technology platforms for marketing and mandatory communications execution across Medibank and ahm brands.

Where you can add value:


  • You will lead the Marketing Technology and Integration team.
  • Take responsibility for the data flow between the Marketing Automation stack and source systems.
  • You are responsible for the governance and data compliance regulations for data stored across the marketing automation stack.
  • You are accountable for the continuous improvement and value extraction of the SaaS Platforms.
  • Use project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and lead integration projects.
  • Take responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system data models and operating rhythms, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the Medibank/ahm tech stack.
  • You will provide recommendations, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for execution systems across Digital, Media, Email and Mandatory Comms such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
  • Provide Architecture and data modelling for all integrations relating to the marketing stack
  • Integration pattern management to ensure all platforms connect in a scalable way to delivery actionable data in a timely manner
  • With Customer Audiences team, oversee the import of data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud for marketing campaigns and ensure compliance to with Medibank standards and industry regulations  
  • Own the SAS scheduling element to ensure all daily jobs run on schedule.
  • Configure Data driven segments for sending optimisation along with sample segments for testing based on SQL.
  • Using API connections and APEX programming language within Salesforce CRM to enable compliant data flows.
  • Support Automation Specialists and Campaign Owners with marketing audience configuration and detailed AMP-Script and SQL queries to deliver audiences for marketing campaigns.
  • Design and Build data flow operating models for daily campaigns to flow seamlessly
  • Manage the day to day data transfer and integrations between the 4 main Marketing Automation Products, SFMC, DMP, CRM and Adobe Target
  • Work with planning and performance to improve reporting metrics to enable campaign owners to improve customer experience. 


About you:


  • You have a Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud Certification and a Technology degree or with emphasis on business and marketing.
  • Recent experience in technology, operations, e-commerce or digital marketing in a customer facing organisation  
  • Experience with contact strategy development and in developing automated marketing campaigns based on consumer engagement triggers.
  • You’re familiar with Agile project methodology.
  • Ability to conceptualise technical outcomes for business requirements and problems. 
  • Command of SQL Querying and relational databases and experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Familiar with Data Management Platform technology
